The Hub has been developed by Suicide Prevention Australia in partnership with Orygen, the National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health, and an independent Expert Advisory Group consisting of representatives with knowledge and expertise in lived experience, public health research, clinical research, evaluation, behavioural research and service delivery.

The Hub review applies two rating scales to assess the quality of the program or service:

1. Assessment of research evaluation and quality
The assessment of research evaluation and quality draws on the following categories and evaluation tasks from the BetterEvaluation Rainbow Framework
•    Planned/scoped
•    Framed
•    Described; and
•    Reported/utilised

2. Overall assessment
Review criteria for the ‘Overall assessment’ are based on the NHMRC Body of evidence matrix. There are four criteria: research/evaluation type, program impact, generalisability and applicability.
